Today’s Camp Fire USA leaders are as varied as today’s kids. Two most important qualities found in potential leaders, and the qualities that really make a difference, are:

• You enjoy working with children and feel some commitment to improve their lives.
• You are curious, willing to learn and wanting to grow yourself.

Although Camp Fire USA offers programs for children and teens, the programs succeed because of the caring, devoted leaders, willing to share their time and energy with youth.

Camp Fire USA leaders have many chances to learn and to grow personally. They share companionship, ideas and inspiration; become better planners, managers, teachers and helpers; and receive the special satisfaction that comes from seeing youth have fun, learn and grow in confidence and skill.
