Every two years, Camp Fire USA teen leaders choose a national issue
as the center of their community service efforts.
Teens throughout the country study the issue, brainstorm ways to
help out and share their ideas with one another. They then plan
and participate in service projects that deal with the issue in
their own communities.
Much of this process takes place at national conferences and meetings.
However, teens also work on the national issue with their Teens
in Action groups, at home with friends and peers.
Throughout the process, teens work together and become stronger
leaders.
